Naengmyeon

A. Ingredients (for 2 ppl):

- Package of dried naengmyon noodles (this will come with the liquid broth package)
- Cucumber: 1/2
- Pear: 1-2
- Napa cabbage or cabbage: 1/4
- Egg: 2
- Dried seasoned seaweed: 2 packs
- Sesame seeds

B. Preparations:

  1. Open the broth package (leave the mustard package aside) and put them into a bowl (preferably plastic or steel one since we will keep cold in freezer). Mix with 4 cups of water. Keep the bowl in the freezer for 4-5 hrs.

  2. Slice the cucumber, cabbage, and 1 pear thinly and put aside.

  3. Grate/blend the other pear and strain well to get the juice. Add this to the broth when assembling.

  4. Hard-boil 2 eggs. Cut them in half.

  5. When the broth is ready to take out, cook the noodles properly, then soak the noodles in cold water for 2-3 minutes until the noodles is completely cold.

  6. Add the noodles into a bowl, then add the toppings of cabbage, cucumber, pear, and sliced sea weed on top. Pour in the soup and enjoy~ (This dish is best for summertime)
