Omurice

A. Ingredients (for 1 person):

- Left-over or cooked rice
- Ground pork: 20g
- Onion: 1/2
- Eggs: 1-2
- Ketchup

B. Preparations:

  1. Finely chop the onion and thaw the ground pork if frozen.

  2. Put on a medium-size pan on medium heat with little oil.

  3. Stir fry the onion first until it turns golden, then add the ground pork. Simply season with salt and pepper.

  4. When meet is cooked, add rice and stir fry the mixture.

  5. On another non-stick pan, put little oil and turn the heat to medium-high.

  6. Break the egg into a bowl and beat it until stiff. Season lightly with salt.

  7. When the pan is hot, quickly pour the egg into the pan. You can use chopstick to stir the egg for 10-15s. Make sure that the edge of the edge is swiped gradually.

  8. After a minute or when the egg is softly cooked (still runny), use a big spoon to add the fried rice onto the egg. Gently shape it like the picture or a small mountain.

  9. Carefully shake the pan and tilt it into a dish. When the egg touches the dish, quickly and gently swing the pan so that the fried rice is nicely covered.

  10. Add ketchup and parsley on top based on your preference.
